To promote education and awareness in the community, ARC is committed to providing a variety of initiatives to boost resilience.
Magnet Signs
ARC has two magnet signs around Strathmore that promote stigma reduction and provide resources on substance use for the community.
Awareness Days
ARC supports a number of different campaigns and awareness days throughout the year. Such as National Addiction Awareness Week, International Overdose Awareness Day, Mental Health Week, and more!
Events
We host events such as community BBQ's, community conversations, vigils, etc. ARC is continuously looking for ways to get the community involved through events that enhance community wellness and connection.
Positive Ticketing
As a partnership with Municipal Enforcement, ARC provided vouchers and coupons to officers to handout to youth who were seen doing good in the community. This program was paused due to covid.
